For an event to qualify as a TPPT, its scientific programme must clearly indicate that practical sessions comprise more than 50% of the total duration, with hands-on sessions making up at least one-third of the programme. Effective January 1, 2024, the responsibility for verifying these programme requirements has shifted. Sponsoring members are now solely responsible for ensuring the event's programme adheres to these specific time allocations. Consequently, the CVS assessment will no longer verify these percentages; our assessment will instead focus on the standard CVS criteria, with special attention given to the appropriateness of the venue for a TPPT, which should typically be a clinical setting or a facility equipped for simulating medical procedures.
